Michael Johnson is the Company’s Director of Finance. Michael joined FCJ on July 1, 2019 with over
twenty-five years’ experience in the field of Accounting and Financial Reporting in both the private
and public sectors. He holds a MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Liverpool.
Michael is not the stereotypical Accountant who just want to “balance the books”. Instead he sees
himself as a transformational leader who believes that businesses and organizations cannot operate
on a sustainable basis if they do not recognize and embrace the delicate interdependency between
their economic activities and the society in which they operate.
In a changing world “we have to choose between a global market driven only by calculations of short-
term profit, and one which has a human face; between a world which condemns a quarter of the
human race to starvation and squalor, and one which offers everyone at least a chance of prosperity
in a healthy environment; between a selfish free for-all in which we ignore the fate of the losers, and
a future in which the strong and successful accept their responsibilities, showing global vision and
leadership ( Kofi Annan). Michael is a devoted Christian and believes that his professional life should
reflect his life for Christ.
